Receptionist and Administration Officer

Hours - Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Term - 12-month fixed term (in the first instance)

About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Receptionist and Administration Officer to join our team at the brand-new care facility, New Lodge, which opened 12 months ago. You will be providing a comprehensive reception service for the benefit of residents, visitors and the staff team.

The role includes dealing with telephone calls, managing appointments and greeting residents and visitors to New Lodge. Provision of a high level of admin support to the management team. Ensuring that the reception area is tidy and welcoming and that the digital display equipment is up to date and regularly refreshed. Daily management of fax, photocopier and CCTV systems is also part of what is likely to be a varied and busy role.

About you

Ideally with a background in reception work you will be well versed in dealing with different people at all levels from managers to residents and staff.

You will be able to build good working relationships as well as have an organised approach to your work, often having to deal with competing deadlines. Having a flexible attitude will stand you in good stead as you will have competing demands and deadlines to achieve.

Most of all we are looking for someone who can work unsupervised and under their own initiative.
