Southway Housing Trust is a “not-for-profit” landlord, based in Didsbury, managing and improving approximately 6,000 homes in South Manchester. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Advice Team for an Employment Support Officer. The candidate will work with local residents who are out of work, and support them into finding sustainable employment, training and other related opportunities. They will also be responsible for mentoring the individuals undertaking a Kickstart work placement, as part of the government’s Kickstart scheme.
